
We drove curiosity and wonder for mycelium materials through short cinematic vignettes that reveal the in-house development & fabrication of raw product concepts. To reach design leaders in the luxury product sector, we established an elevated aesthetic that beautifies a largely DIY process that is otherwise comprised of dirt and warehouse tools.

The studio sought to inspire designers through a continual process of discovering new capabilities for mycelium. We grew textures, shapes, and inventive material combinations as fodder for the imagination of adventurous designers.
The all-natural basis of MycoWorks’ material is one of its most attractive properties for creatives. We offered glimpses of our cultivation process at an accessible scale to reveal the organic, handcrafted process from which MycoWorks’ industrial-scale manufacturing operation was adapted.
We wanted to share the playfulness inherent in mycelium research with a public whose fascination with mushrooms was exploding across all media. We brought our expertise to the category of scientific wonder on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, producing entertaining and educational content that introduced millions of viewers to the capabilities of fungal mycelium.
