Artisan practices come together in ‘La Camomille et le Reishi,’ a flavor collaboration between French tea house Le Fleur Nue and biomaterials maker MycoWorks. MycoWorks' Reishi™ mushroom-based leather was a perfect package for Le Fleur Nue's hand-harvested garden flower strains, resulting in a poetic blend of organic biomaterials and handcrafted commercial goods.
Handcrafted Packaging Expertise
Unique, handcrafted projects are a specialty for Parisian luxury packaging atelier, Reliac Agence. With four generations of craft expertise servicing the world’s largest luxury brands, they were the ideal partner to demonstrate the capabilities of Reishi mycelium leather for fine goods packaging. I visited Reliac’s workshop in Paris to film the creation of handmade labels for this special tea strain. With this boutique product launch, our goal was to associate Reishi with luxury fabrication, and provide a practical example of the material in real-world use.
